Historical Note
John Perient of Brittany purchased the Digswell Estate in 1414 and the third largest wing, measuring 1186 square feet, bears his name.
Its main feature is the magnificently preserved, original vaulted brick oven, which used to be in the 17th Century bakehouse but now, along with an exposed fireplace, is the centre of attraction in the spacious living room. This wing too is replete with exposed beams and brickwork and the oak staircase leads to the master bedroom and second bedroom, both with en-suites.
