Historical Note
The Mandeville Wing is named after William the Conqueror’s favourite, Geoffrey de Mandeville, to whom he gifted 330 acres of Digswell land, recorded in the Domesday Book.
Consisting of 961 square feet, the wing includes a dual aspect living room with exposed fireplace, entrance hall and staircase with two alcoves leading to the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a second bedroom with en-suite shower. Again, exposed beams are mandatory throughout the wing.
